Trip purchases

It seems so long ago now - but the earrings and tea were from my trip up the east coast to Ruatoria. The candle was from a lavender farm in the Wairapapa, which unfortunately was a disappointment - not much lavender to see (or smell more importantly!)

  2. Manuka is the tree that the bees use the pollen from to make the manuka honey. Its got a few healthy properties in its own right and is used as a traditional medicine and is teatree (think essential oil) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manuka
Of course, I had no idea of any of this before I came to NZ and my friends had to educate me :)
